CarlisleConnect – eCommerce B2B

Digital Transformation in B2B eCommerce

In my role as Lead eCommerce Technical Architect at Precision Dialogue, I led a landmark project aimed at overhauling a clients outdated B2B eCommerce infrastructure. This project, set against the backdrop of a system burdened by technical debt and limited operational knowledge, was a strategic initiative to transition to Magento Enterprise Edition, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to digital commerce. Our collaboration with design and UI/UX labs culminated in the development of an advanced B2B ordering interface, setting a new standard for user experience in the industry for Carlisle, an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Carlisle conducts a significant portion of its business with giants like John Deere and Polaris, represented a strategic endeavor to enhance their digital transaction capabilities. The project aimed to not only modernize their platform but also to empower their Aftermarket Customer segment, which includes key partners like Discount Tire, through the revamped CarlisleConnect portal.

The Carlisle Connect project stands as a testament to the power of visionary leadership and technical expertise in transforming legacy operations into next-generation digital commerce platforms. My role in navigating through technical, operational, and stakeholder challenges underscores a commitment to excellence and a strategic approach to digital transformation.
